This wardrobe was designed by Willy Van Der Meeren, and manufactured by Tubax in Belgium in 1952. This piece is made of quality wood on a black metal structure. It has red and white metal sliding doors which reveal a nice spacious inside. Willy Van Der Meeren (1923-2002) was a Belgian architect. He studied at the Modernist School of Architecture La Cambre in Brussels in the late 1940s. Van Der Meeren had a particular interest in the construction in mass production, and in social commitment (As in La Cambre, they viewed architecture as something for the masses, not for the individual). Willy Van Der Meeren is also considered one of the most important post-war Belgian furniture designers.
